Ciara Emrick

Case Manager

Ciara Emrick, MSW has over two years of experience in crisis intervention, case management, and trauma-informed practice. She has a wide range of experience outside of the social work field, including COVID relief efforts within a care facility for older populations as a temporary nurse's aide. More recently and prior to joining the Keyway team, Ciara was a Crisis Intervention Specialist at ALIVE, Inc. where she worked with those wishing to flee intimate partner violence. Currently, she is seeking more experience working with those experiencing co-occurring disorders, specifically substance use disorder and other mental health diagnoses.

Ciara has long had a passion for helping others and plans to have a long career working with vulnerable populations and advocating for social justice. She started in a rural community and was motivated to move to a larger populated area - like St. Louis - to expand her understanding of more diverse communities and the experiences unique to those within them.
