Keyway Announces Details for 2026 Gala

September 26, 2025

ST. LOUIS (Sept. 26, 2025) – Keyway Center for Diversion & Reentry announced today the theme, date and location of their annual gala for 2026. Considered by many to be one of Missouri's leading nonprofits advocating for and assisting justice-involved women, Keyway’s one-night-only event, March 7, 2026, at 6 p.m. at River City Event Center will shine a spotlight on the organization’s commitment to empowering women transitioning from incarceration to community with the theme “Catalyst for Change.”

“Women coming home from incarceration already have the potential within them,” said April Foster, Keyway Executive Director. “Our job at Keyway is to act as the catalyst—to amplify their strengths, break down barriers, and make stability possible. That’s what this gala, and our mission, is all about.”

Centered on four critical areas of need, including housing stability, financial security, emotional wellness and community reengagement, Keyway’s services are vital for St. Louis' justice-involved women and their families. Next year’s gala theme, “Catalyst for Change,” reflects how the right supports—like housing, therapy, and employment—can spark powerful transformation, accelerating the journey from crisis to stability.

“We can talk about reduced recidivism rates and cost savings, but the real impact of Keyway is seen in the women we serve—women who are thriving because someone believed in their potential. This event honors them and invites others to believe too,” said Karolyn Terpstra, Keyway Board President.

Tickets for “Catalyst for Change” will go on sale in January.
